Marking your Swimmer for Meets
Parents - get your sharpies ready!
What is arm marking? You must mark your swimmer to reflect which event, heat and lane they are racing. This is used to help remind the swimmer of their events and help volunteers. Use the Heat Sheet to find and highlight your child's events.
On your swimmer's inner arm or thigh - you will write E/H/L which stands for Event, Heat & Lane. This information will come from the heat sheets that will be emailed out to you by Thursday mid afternoon. You can write their name and age on their back or shoulder (this always helps the bullpen and lane volunteers know who is who)
When marking your swimmers events, be sure it is written so the swimmer can read it! See example pictures below!
